Brings to life a series of outlandish situations which have a common thread - they're about water. Thought-provoking and highly entertaining this performance features physical comedy sequences as well as text based segments which inform, illuminate and entertain about all things wet and watery. Two time travellers come back to the present day to collect data about water and sample's of the earth's water supply in the hope of averting a water crisis in the future. From their time and space module they observe various situations involving water - these include Archimede's Principle, the water treatment process, a suburban family's bathroom habits and a collage sequence including movie, television adn musicla segments. Presented in highly physical and comic style and with dynamic sound effects this show introduces the subject of water in an innovative and entertaining piece of theatre. The show is relevant to young people in that it highlights the need to conserve water in this country - it will excite them with a bold theatrical approach whilst providing strong curriculum links in the area of environmental studies. |
